ARCA Mentor School

PROJECTS

EuResist Network participates in the Arca Mentor School (AMS) an innovative educational project conceived, organised and realised by the ARCA scientific Board, Intramed Communications and I-PRO.

The aim of AMS is to nurture a new generation of scientists able to exploit structured collections of real world data bridging the gap among biomedical sciences, data management, statistics and industrial exploitation. The final goal is to exploit the full potential of structured collections of real world data at the advantage of basic science, clinical management and pharmacoeconomics.

AMS has a novel hands-on format which comprehends both residential intensive sessions and web-based follow up periods.

The trainees are instructed and supported to run queries of scientific relevance on the ARCA database. At the end of the process, the results of the queries are analysed and translated into scientific communications and/or articles where appropriate.

AMS has been successfully held in three successive editions in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
